 Michael Burks

Guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Michael “Iron Man” Burks stands tall as a major contemporary blues figure. With a nickname earned by his hours-long, intensely physical performances, fearsome guitar attack, tough, smoky vocals and the thousands of miles logged behind the wheel of his touring van, Burks is a modern blues hero. Nobody in today’s blues world successfully bridges searing electric guitar blues with unbridled rock and roll energy like Burks. The Chicago Sun-Times recently said Burks is “poised on the brink of major stardom.”

Bobby Rush

Bobby Rush received recognition for his music after the release of his 22nd album "Rush" when he was awarded "Best Male Soul Blues Artist" at the Blues Music Awards.   He also received “best acoustic artist” and “best acoustic album” for his album "Raw".   He is a purveyer of the soul blues sound. He sometimes also uses elements from rap and funk. 2004's "FolkFunk" was a return to a more rootsier sound, featuring guitarist Alvin Youngblood Hart and came out on his own Deep Rush label.

Jackie Bell

Jackie is at her best out front; she loves to perform. She writes, composes and arranges most of her material. However, it is her gift at reading the audience and involving people in her performances that truly make her “Miss Sweetheart”. This explosion of a firecracker, will assure audiences a 4^th of July celebration in October!!  The intensity that Jackie makes happen during a performance is amazing.  Whether it is one set or all night long, “Miss Sweetheart” gives her all.

Dr. Dee

He has performed with some the greatest blues artist such as Marvin Sease, The Love Doctor, the late great Jackie Neal and a host of others. He sings varieties of music shuch as gospel, R&B, jazz and blues.  He also plays dums. "Versatility is the key says Dr. Dee."

Bernard Jenkins

Bernard and The B-Kats have honed their craft and talent, finding audiences near and far. They are well known in Jackson, Mississippi area. They are true entertainers. Their music ranges include jazz, rhythm and blues, contemporary blues and traditional blues. They have opened for national acts and performed at major festivals around the country.
